was born in Finland in 1988 and is a Swedish-speaking Finnish illustrator, cartoonist, and graphic designer. She is one of the most prominent representatives of a young generation of Scandinavian comic voices. Her comic debut, “Spleenish” (2017), was awarded a grant from the Swedish-Speaking Authors’ Association of Finland, the “Most Beautiful Book” prize, and a nomination for the Finlandia Prize for Best Comic Book. Her second comic, “Crap” (2018), was a critical success and received the Finlandia Prize for the Best Finnish Comic.
