Rita Fürstenau

was born in Berlin, Germany in 1982. She passed her first state examination as elementary school teacher and also studied illustration at the School of Art and Design Kassel. She works as a freelance illustrator and does her PhD in educational science at the University of Kassel. In 2006 she founded the publishing company Verlag ohne Titel, now named rotopolpress.
